Chapter 1 — Unearthed Adventure
Finally his time had arrived. Long he had waited for his new journey, destined to arrive at what he hoped to be the unknown. Amateur archaeologist Axel Rex had always dreamt deep and hard of making incredible discoveries of his own, far beyond digging up uninteresting trinkets with other researchers in local fields. Throughout his twenty six years, starting as a young child at least, many would accuse him of being a reckless gambler with little restraint. To him it was no accusation, but rather a compliment. Such risk taking was the key to worthwhile discoveries, or at least that was specifically his outlook.
From deep within the rural hills of England, he caught the next flight over to the east of Spain. Far from the coast within the south east were deserts with little history, as far as he could tell. Clearly he’d have to travel far and wide to have any fragments of discoveries, though he considered himself well prepared. Upon selling off many unnecessary possessions back home, he at least had enough for his journey. After purchasing a relatively cheap van, he filled it with long lasting food, various drinks, many versatile tools and some of his favourite books from England.
Truth be told, he wasn’t fluent in Spanish in the slightest. He already learnt much Italian from a decade ago, which didn’t seem to matter thanks to the numerous English speakers he met while filling the van. Many were friendly enough, yet none appeared to actually believe he was using his time well. Responses didn’t vary much. Anything strange to be found would already be found, always has been regarded as being a less interesting desert, etc. Despite this, none had it in them to stop Axel, likely out of sympathy given how far he’d come to get here. At the very least they provided spare maps and directions, along with plentiful advice on how to endure or evade summer if he spent the entire spring there.
Clearly the odds were about to crush him with boulders, yet off he went, far out of sight from any civilisations. Clearly that wasn’t stopping him. He happily proceeded to drive for days in search of potential points of interest. Off the roads he trailed, favouring areas with higher rocky structures and hills rather than flat ones. Only a few days in, Axel saw a strange sight, albeit briefly. People, far in the distance, entering some isolated desert village near mountainous landscapes. It was only for a fraction of a second, caught in the corner of his eye as he turned around to search. Afterwards, the distance held little more in its midst than crevasses and rocky hills.
Undoubtedly this was a mere illusion his own mind created. Axel was certainly one to get his hopes up, but given the circumstances, a civilisation that appeared only briefly clearly wasn’t real. Closer inspection confirmed it. He’d grown so desperate for discoveries that this broken, barely traversable land flashed as hope. Disinterest pushed its way through his mind, almost compellingly as he began searching elsewhere.
If anything, breakages in the earth could potentially hold something beneath, right? His optimism beamed forth, as did his unstable stress from inactivity. Nobody else would think to excavate unaccompanied here, so perhaps this was a nice opportunity? Parking his van nearby before equipping plenty of food and tools in his giant backpack, he donned his gloves and Irish country hat over his shoulder-length dark blond hair. It was midday as he approached a large, cave-like boulder with major cracks along the ground at its side.
Vigorously he excavated the terrain with his well-crafted pickaxe. What he expected to take hours took minutes, the ground caving in with ease. Axel readied his torch as he proceeded to break down through the earth, forging a downward path in a spiralling motion ease the struggle of his return journey. The further he descended, the smoother the walls and floors became, with less rock and rubble to dig through. Upon an hour of travel, the strangely welcoming tunnel greeted him with a dead end, very evidently caved in long ago. Clearly this wasn’t the end, not after a smoothened pathway like that!
Axel’s next few hours were happily spent digging away at what appeared to be a collapsed doorway, a few meters in diameter. Regular breaks were taken, often shortened by his excitement. Had he finally done it? Only a few days in and he may well have discovered something incredible to report back home! His finger itched over the mere thought of utilising his camera and leaping up to fame!
Onwards he broke through, the small hole of hope increasing with every strike of excitement. Within time, he dug through to a dark yet spacious area. Beneath him was a far smoother and harder floor, like refined stone. Despite the countless stones barring his boots from properly feeling it, clearly this area wasn’t exclusively owned by the earth itself. Axel’s torch could only shine so far, finding little in the way of walls or structures beyond rubble. Keeping said torch on him, he rummaged his backpack for something notably more effectual.
Buried in there was a special dome shaped lamp, able to shine far and wide without causing much strain on one’s eyes. Though he may not have obtained this through legal means, it wouldn’t matter if it helped make an advanced discovery…or so he told himself at least. Resting it upon the floor after flicking its switch underneath, almost the entirety of the huge underground cathedral dimly reflected its light. A long pathway guided him forwards to a large elevated area with various broken statues made of sapphire. A strange pattern engraved on a shield served as a recurring emblem of sorts, scattered on various walls and floors. Large doorways loomed within every corner, though they’d seen better days, given they too would need excavation soon.
Glaring around the newly discovered cathedral however, were further hints of ruin. Not a square meter dared go without rubble of sorts, be it pebbles or clusters of boulders. The stone benches barely remained in-tact or properly aligned, pieces of the sapphire statues having flown far to join them. More ambiguous however were the shards of metal, varying in size, scattered far and wide. Most were grey or dark blue in colour, none in any salvageable condition.
“Time to take pictures!” he thought to himself. Axel retrieved his camera with excitement-induced energy overriding him. Having stumbled into a rare and undocumented discovery, his camera began slowly gnawing its way through the mass of free space that Axel had provided it. Every spectacle he’d found was ensured to be copied onto camera, along with plenty of new sights along the way. Strange writing on the walls, peculiar indents in the floors suggesting various weapon usage, even what appeared to be a metal arm lying on the floor beneath rubble.
This entire place felt untouched for centuries at the very least, yet whoever used this had already recreated body parts out of metal? To Axel, this felt too arbitrary to believe until a self-pinch to his side confirmed otherwise. Clearly this provoked further research, preferably starting with the collapsed doorways to the sides of the cathedral. They were far more subtle than the corner doorways, though if the left one led to a cramped room after little digging, the right side probably held more potential! To the right, the doorway wasn’t even visible until hours of excavation, therefore nullifying as many chances for survivors to skedaddle with treasure.
Following a quick meal and beverage, Axel slowly tore apart the obstructing pile. Though it took some climbing and squeezing, he managed to enter the cramped room beyond, equipped with his touch and night goggles. From within, he stumbled upon plenty more dust and rubble before sighting an ominous humanoid figure leaning against the furthest wall.
Upon approaching the body, it indeed appeared to be a person, still intact with their flesh and clothes. With long dark blue hair pressed against the wall, her head was tilted with eyes firmly shut. Her body appeared to be above-average build with well-formed arms and bodily figure, with a long metallic gown of deep cobalt blue colour. This dress consisted of thin and long steel plates, made to fit elegantly around her body from bellow her exposed breasts, which appeared to lack nipples. Strange circular plates of silver colours were fitted around her shoulders, along with strange steel blocks attached to the sides of her head which appeared equivalent to that of large earpieces.
As Axel examined her closely with his torch, strange dark lines were drawn neatly around her arms, upper body and around her face. More subtle lines drew down from her closed eyes, down to her rounded cheeks. Though some dents and scratches plagued her hard skin all around, her being had seemingly retained much of its excellence. So much that it took Axel a solid half a minute to notice the thick layer of dust latching upon her.
Nothing about this appeared plausible, yet here he was, standing in front of what he could only assume was a humanoid robot. This would likely be passed off as a daft prank on first glance, though no such trivial details would stop Axel from reporting this kind of discovery! A further half an hour passed, as Axel excavated more rubble to ‘carefully’ remove the robot from her rocky prison. Carrying her out revealed their height to be mutual, at about 1.7 meters. Her weight less so, probably exceeding his own by a good 50 kilograms.
Placed against the nearest wall within sight of Axel’s lamp, he captured several images of the strange robot girl, shifting focus between various details and angles. With a soft brush kept within his bag, he gave her a thorough clean of her dusty detainment, allowing her colours to properly shine through against the welcoming illumination.
After much work, a rest was in order. Axel sat down against some loose rubble, soon-to-expire sandwiches in hand as he gazed up at the beauty he’d just unearthed. Though mildly uncanny, she still held an odd elegance on her face and body, likely due to that exceptional craftwork needed to build her. Axel snapped a few quick pictures from where he sat, anticipating what other amazing artefacts he could uncover. Faint mechanical cranking muffled its way from somewhere as he bit into his sandwich. Took little time to notice the slight twitching from the robot’s hand.
Axel sat in awe, only moving the muscles needed to resume eating. Over time her arms twitched, her head twitched, until finally her arms rose up as she opened her eyes in…confusion? Her reaction wasn’t easy to read, though she likely needed a moment to gather her surroundings. That mechanical cranking from earlier didn’t stop, though it sounded weirdly inconsistent and unsafe. Her shining amber eyes glared over to Axel, before scanning the entire area and its individual contents. Her glare drifted back to Axel, still with a lack of distinct emotion or intent.
“U-Ummm…hello?” Axel eventually spoke. Another awkward silence followed before he attempted further communication. “I um, found you buried away and…oh wait, you probably don’t recognise English, um….Hola? C-Come stai…? T-Tu sai cosa sono dicendo?”
Axel stared hopelessly with embarrassment, noticing in hindsight how unlikely that would make any sense to her. He figured Italian was the nearest thing if “hola” didn’t work, though really he just needed some way of speaking with her rather than at her. She retained her unflinching, unblinking stare. Her body occasionally twitched and creaked, though that appeared to be rapidly smoothening over time. All Axel could think to do was talk politely in hopes for the best, even if it were needless rambling.
“Errm, so uh…I’m from far away and I’ve been in dire search of strange forgotten relics and whatnot. I’m probably more confused than you are right now; this was probably the last thing I expected….” Axel paused upon the sight of the robot raising her hand to an earpiece, rotating the tip while maintaining her stare. A faint cyan light emitted from its tip. “I umm…found you in that room after I dug up that rubble. That and I cleaned you up just now. That dust wasn’t very complimentary on you…erm….”
He paused again, hurt by the realisation that all he said was probably redundant. Squinting her eyes a little, the robot twitched her lips before speaking in a clear but quiet mostly monotonous voice.
“Continue….” she spoke softly, her voice an odd mixture of soothing and demanding.
“W-Wha-? You can speak? C-Could you understand all that?” Axel stuttered in disbelief.
“Continue….” she repeated, voice growing more audible.
“Ah…o-okay? I’m Axel Rex, an archaeologist. I’ve tried finding great new discoveries and I stumbled upon this place. I’ve seen nobody in days until I met you, and I…really wasn’t expecting it. Nobody outside has ever seen any sort of machinery this advanced, yet you’ve clearly been here in this ancient area for a long time! W-What happened here? I know I’m not dreaming this, but I can barely comprehend anything I’ve found down here!”
A brief silence followed yet again, before the robot adjusted her earpiece to its prior setting as she closed her eyes. Her internal works kicked up a gear for a moment, Axel too confounded to dare interrupt. Slowly her eyes reopened, resuming her stare into Axel.
“Decoding of new language complete. Your language is titled ‘English’, as in ‘Angle Language’, correct?” Though her voice remained rather monotonous and slightly muffled, she still spoke clearly. Her accent almost matched Axel’s aside from the major influence of her pitch preventing any major shift in tone.
“Y-Yes, I guess you co-, wait, how did yo-, never mind, yes it’s English. Wait, how did you…already learn my language like that? D-Did you? Is it a prank?” The bewilderment was written brightly all across his face, at least to any human if they were nearby to observe it.
“Efficient language decoding and compiling was created long ago. This is nothing new. It only makes sense, due to the importance of good communication.” Sounded rich coming from one who stared in silence, Axel thought. As it stood, he didn’t have the guts to be snarky about this. “Regarding your ramble, you claim to be a far traveller in search of archaic arts and relics, correct? It is currently high priority that I properly deduce the reasoning behind your presence.”
“Yes, that’s right. I’m an independent archaeologist. To my knowledge, nobody alive today had discovered this place. I honestly have no idea what happened to this place or when it happened, but if you’d like to help with my research, I’d love that!” Axel regaining his usual vocal energy, reminding himself of his reason for being here and how lucky he was to have hit the jackpot in archaeology!
“No.” spoke the robot, stepping forward.
Without warning, her right fist pointed at Axel while a small laser cannon unhatched from her arm. Blue glowing light surrounded its edges, with multiple magic circles slowly rotating around her arm in alternating directions. Strange lettering he couldn’t read was printed on the circles as they floated around her wrist. Her right eye shifted from amber to crimson, with odd yellow flickering coating the eyeball. She retained the exact same lack of expression, only appearing extra focused in how serious her threat was portrayed.
“I definitely will not help with your research.” she continued. “Intended enemy of our empire or not, your presence is a threat to us, due to your intention of exposing and degrading all we stand for. Not only do you eagerly request something counter-intuitive to us, but you also carry at least one ambiguous device that may cause us great harm.”
“Device that can cause h-? No! Of course not! I have mining tools, yes, but I don’t have it in me to use those as weapons!”
Some twitching and cranking ruffled through her body, before two smaller laser cannons arced over her shoulders to shine thin red lasers beside Axel. Six metallic tendrils burst out of her back and arced round her body, pointing at him menacingly. She held her left arm in front of her, part of it unfolding before projecting holographic cyan writing just above it. A mild tinge of anger crept upon her face, the first hint of actual emotion.
“Should you move to either side into the red lasers, they’ll activate their full charge and ignite you. Should you try anything head on, this photon cannon on my arm will blast a hole through your chest. My six tendrils and additionally projected information all provide supplementary backup should you attempt to outsmart my main forms of weaponry.” She was dead serious. There were no doubts in Axel’s mind, nor was there any encouragement in rolling gambles.
“I-Is it the camera? Pl-Please d-don’t hurt me! I want no harm to you! Study the camera if you wish, it’s not an intended weapon, I swear!” Axel held out his beloved camera, arm shaking. She reached out to grab it, holding it up in various awkward angles with both hands.
“Incorrect item.” she proclaimed, throwing it against Axel’s body. “A specific device in your possession is emitting questionable signals. Show me that device.”
After much confusion and scrambling through his hefty backpack, realisation finally struck. His phone. Might that be causing her distress?
“Okay, this might be it….” Axel reluctantly retrieved his smartphone, holding it out to her. She awkwardly held it with both hands again, examining every side as her crimson eye briefly shifted to shades of violet.
“Dangerous device detected. Device uses strange signals to inflict changes in other machines, as well as trickery for those who can’t detect them. It is currently trying to communicate, so that you can expose us automatically regardless of your return.”
“No, wait! You’ve got it all wrong!” yelled Axel, flinching as the photon cannon readjusted its aim, lasers closing in a little. “Please, here me out. That device is a communication device, yes. While down here however, it can never hope to interact with the world above. It’s attempting to reach out to the satellite abo-, err, giant communication system beyond the clouds. While under even a few meters of ground, those signals can’t ever hope to reach that system! Apart from taking notes and tracking the time, that device is rendered useless down here. That and it will probably run short of battery very soon anyway….”
“…limited battery…limited reach….” Averting her gaze slightly to examine the phone further, she appeared to pacify slightly before throwing the phone to Axel. “Dangerous device deemed redundant. Information on strange communication device updated. Estimations on current outsider machinery updated. Outside power appears disappointingly weak.”
Axel sighed in relief over her understanding his phone better, though tried hard to hide his pain against her insult to humanity’s technological breakthroughs. He slowly stood up straight, having put his phone and camera safely away.
“So…are we cool now? We’ve cleared that I’m not a threat to you or your so-called empire. I’m merely a traveller here out of curiosity. Could you perhaps…put those weapons away?”
“No.” she adamantly replied. Her cannon’s aim refocused to aim just below his neck, as the magic circles illuminated further with faster gyrations. “As you previously stated, you’re a researcher on hidden areas and artefacts. This sanctuary appears unknown to your people, which is a factor that must remain unchanged. Your destruction is the only adamant way to ensure it. Forgive me, but this must be done.”
“WAIT! STOP! I CAN HELP YOU!” shouted Axel in a plea for his life. Her weapon’s charge seems to decrease, though not shut off. “Look around, your land has been annihilated! I’ve read all about fallen empires and buildings before, so I can provide much needed help. Aren’t you confused as to what happened and what to do now? I-If it really means that much to you, I won’t leave your side or communicate elsewhere without your permission!”
That cold hard stare continued, her stance and aggression not altering.
“Tell you what…” continued Axel, reaching into his backpack. He flinched in realisation that this could provoke the robot’s attack, though she simply waited patiently. At this point, she’d have figured out if he could actually threaten her right here. After frantic rummaging, he retrieved his smartphone again. “Destroy it. I spent sizable wealth on this device, but to prove how much my life and your safety will mean to me, you may destroy this device if you prefer….” Another silence ensued, sweat running down Axel’s face.
“No.” she proclaimed yet again. A descending hum droned on as her arms and eyes returned to normal. Though the shouldered lasers had little trouble refolding, the tendrils creaked and flinched as they returned back into her. It looked and sounded painful, though her face demonstrated a lack of concern. “Keep your device safe. You’ve shown a great level of consideration, even if it contradicts your best interests. I have numerous tasks to enact upon, all of which you are permitted to assist with if you choose to do so. That being said, I will be forced to terminate you should I observe you evading and sneaking off with our secrets. Please do not take this personally.”
“…thank you…” Axel sighed, feeling the weight of the reaper’s scythe ease away. “I’ll happily join you in your investigation! I won’t leave without your permission. Deep down I understand how important privacy is, especially in this day and age. Where would you rather investigate first miss…wait, do androids like you have names? I’m used to having names to refer to people but you haven’t introdu-.”
“Gynoid.” she interrupted. “Android is the term for a male gynoid. Are you making crippling errors in your own primary language or do females appear as males to you?”
“The…the first one admittedly.” Embarrassment choked him. Never seemed possible to him that someone who literally just learnt English would act pedantically about obscure and potentially non-existent terms, yet here he was.
“Anyway, to answer your question, yes Axel. We each have unalterable names, mine being Vᴂttr thӕnis Zero Three Two”. Confusion flared in Axel’s eyes, clearly having some difficulty understanding. The gynoid held out her right arm, with the name ‘Vᴂttr•thӕnis032|Eydís’ glowing faintly under it in pale blue writing. “I understand that this may not be considered compatible with the Angle Language, so you may refer to me as Eydís if preferred.”
“Ah okay, Eydís it is then! That um, quite a nice name!” Axel stared in silence briefly, half expecting some extent of reaction. “Umm, so where do you need to investigate first?”
“Everywhere possible. I’ll need time to engage in locational feedback checks to detect familiar entities. This will likely require up to several hours, worst case scenario.”
“Most of the pathways are still caved in. I should be able to excavate such paths though each one could take hours each. Whichever ones you want prioritised, I’ll do first!” Axel reached for his tools with little hesitation. Most of his excitement was sourced from more potential discoveries, though helping Eydís find her lost brethren felt great too, assuming they’d all be kind enough.
“Sectors near the altar should take priority. I will begin investigation immediately.” Eydís turned round to tread stiffly down the walkway. Despite her stoic and cold demeanour, Axel could still sense a presence of an actual living person within her. Metaphorically at least. From Axel’s view, there was certainly enough reason to worry for her condition. There’s no chance she would have creaked and twitched like that back when she was created.
—
Many more hours had drifted past. Or at least, that’s how it felt to Axel. His hard work in excavation was all that kept him warm from the constant cold, with no shift in daylight or warmth to suggest how long it had been. During his time chipping away rubble and casting it aside, Eydís patrolled the entire area multiple times over. Her eyes often shifted through various colours, as holographic runes projected out her arm. Occasionally she scanned floors and walls with thin lasers. At one point she blasted away another chunk of rubble her photon cannon.
Axel glared down at his pickaxe questioningly. Was Eydís trying to preserve power by letting him excavate or did she just not put two and two together? Eventually he realised the possibility Eydís may have finished her local investigation, upon seeing her stare longingly at the back wall of the cathedral, head and body unflinching.
“Umm, Eydís? Are you okay? You’ve been standing there for several minutes suddenly.” Axel approached her, as she slowly turned to face him. “I have that pathway opened up now, so umm, if you wanted to explore we could….”
“All gone….” Eydís spoke. A slight hint of defeat loomed atop her eyes. “Local search complete. Beacon readings are absent. No remaining familiar life, humans or automations, for at least thirty thousand meters. Local area appears to have been untouched for an estimated duration of eight hundred to two thousand years.”
“Oh no…Eydís, I’m…I’m so sorry to hear that!” Though he expected as much, Eydís was a lucky survivor of some local calamity, though he wasn’t sure if ‘lucky’ was something she’d want to hear. “I don’t know if I could help, but I’ll still stand by you if desired!”
“There is no necessity to feel sorry, Axel. The apparent extermination of my brethren and those we served is no concern of yours. However, there is indeed something you can do to assist, should you be up for taking a new responsibility in life.”
“Well, I think I’d rather hear it out first. Might be a little too risky otherwise, even for me.”
“Certainly. A full explanation is to be provided. Since my former master has perished, my registration data declaring them as such has had to be erased. To ensure I can continue functioning without meeting an abrupt end of tasks to fulfil, I require a new master to serve. The choice to accept this offer is yours alone to decide. I myself have decided that you are compatible, due to your active personality and dedication. You may also require protection for what lurks beyond these stone walls.”
Axel was taken aback, bewilderment striking harder than ever. Though the offer was strange and mildly unpredictable, clearly they’d both benefit greatly. Still, this wasn’t a choice he could jump blinding into.
“Eydís, are there any other prerequisites or precautions I should know about? I’d love to take up the offer. I think you’re incredible in so many ways and I don’t like the thought of you struggling in your challenging situation. What else should I consider before accepting?” Eydís paused briefly before responding, seemingly in thought.
“There is another important factor. Though my servitude will function primarily in your favour, my core programming will override my usual functions if you try to wrongfully expose our presence or history to the world outside without permission. Forgive me, for there is no way around this.”
“That’s fine…I already made the promise after all!” Axel sighed in relief. The thought of still being a target of execution wasn’t comforting, though at least he knew all he needed to know! “Eydís, I gladly accept! You may serve me if you wish!”
“In that case, Master Axel Rex, you will now have my loyal servitude.” Eydís approached, slowly grabbing Axel by the arms. Her grip was strong, though not uncomfortable. She stared deeply into his stunned eyes, inches away. “To complete the new mastery authentication process, I require a sample of Deoxyribonucleic Acid from you. Please hold still will I carry out this process.”
Without further words, Eydís pulled Axel in for a kiss. Their lips pressed hard, Eydís’s cold metallic skin sending pleasant shivers down Axel’s spine. Eydís went forth and pushed her tongue into his mouth as her eyes closed shut. Still held tightly in her grasp, Axel let his body press limply against Eydís’s as she worked her dry yet ultra-smooth tongue work its way through every inch of Axel’s mouth it could find. She gripped him adamantly in place for at least a minute, occasionally pulling back her tongue ever so briefly to extract large samples of saliva.
Eventually she pulled back, briefly lifting up Axel to provide him an actual chance of regaining his stance. Her eyes slowly opened, staring into his while subtle swallowing emanated from her head. She took steps back, holder her hands together in front to allow them both a full view of each other.
“Authentication process complete.” stated Eydís. Her prior tinge of defeat appeared to have washed away with their kiss. “I hereby declare Axel Rex to officially be the new Master of Vᴂttr•thӕnis032|Eydís.”
“Wow…th-thank you! Eydís I’m…not sure what to say, this is all a bit much to take in, y’know?”
“Mutual gratitude is in order, it would seem. First however, your safety and comfort must be attended to. You have spent several hours conducting strenuous hard work. It’s important that you rest up before further work is conducted. If you like, I can provide a quick health check from where I am currently standing.”
“Ah, sure! I guess that could help….” replied Axel, clearly not entirely convinced.
Eydís spent nearly half a minute staring at his body, head to toe, one eye shifting between various blues while another remained a bright silver. Tiny yellow lines of text appeared to spiral within her eyes, though all of such writing was far too miniscule for Axel to read, even if it were in English. After having stared him down long enough, Eydís’s eyes slowly reverted to their usual amber colour, before raising an arm to point viciously at Axel.
“Horny.” she declared.
“Wh-Wha-? Eydís? Are you serious?” queried Axel, both perplexed and embarrassed.
“Adamant.” Eydís replied. “Your heart rate has increased to an above average level from how much you’ve stared at my body. Your eyes possess a specific attentiveness likely initiated by your level of libido and the kiss we shared. Alongside this, your body itself still retains much energy despite your work, with much of it prepared at your genital area. Right now your penis is trying desperately to achieve maximum length, but is restricted by your clothing.”
“Ahh, wait what? How di-?” Axel recoiled in shock and unease, struggling to respond. “You seriously determined all that from…I assume scanning me? But I mean…okay but, why? Weren’t you supposed to check for stamina? Or potential injuries I’ve had? Why call me out on finding you really attractive and likable? Yes, we humans get horny, but we usually can’t help that! Seriously, why bother bringing that up of all things?”
“Is it not obvious?” Eydís finally lowered her arm, her unflinching stare not wavering. “Perhaps your own society isn’t as hedonistic as it should be. Your libido clearly states that it’s time to have some healthy and pleasant release. I can greatly assist with that if need be. One the many functions of the Vᴂttr•thӕnis range is to be able to sexually satisfy human men and woman. Master Axel, answer me honestly, do you yourself want to feel sexually satisfied? Before you ask, yes, I want you to feel as satisfied as humanly possible. I guarantee you’ll feel that way if you let me please you in that manner.”
Axel felt oddly trapped. He was never one to back out of a sexual invitation, though each time a new discovery was made here, a far more shocking one would eagerly replace it. Though highly reluctant to admit it, every detail Eydís had analysed was entirely true. Uncanny particulars aside, Axel really did view her as highly attractive. Her structure and design were a work of pure art, complimenting a deep desire to care for not just him, but anyone meaningful to her. Denying his own desires would probably upset her to some extent…and both would agree deep down how unintuitive it would be for him to keep it all within his balls.
“Yes…” he admitted. “I’m extremely horny and attracted to you. If possible, please satisf-”
His words were cut short by Eydís stepping forward, without a hint of gentle pacing or reluctance. Stood firmly in front of Axel, Eydís lifted up her metal gown as it began folding into itself slightly. Down she crouched onto her knees, exposing the large robotic joints keeping her together. Her legs appeared fairly large and well-built much like her arms, though lacked the seams which would hide secret compartments. Without warning, she unbuttoned his trousers to expose his erection as it began growing excitedly. Eydís stared back at the cock that greeted her.
Come to think of it, was this even a safe idea given her post-hibernation weariness? The thought only dawned upon Axel after Eydís proceeded to place a firm metallic hand against the base of his cock, holding it firmly with her thumb and finger while applying mild pressure to his receptive testicles. Eydís gently stroked her other hand around his waist until it reached his behind, firmly clutching the buttock while allowing no inch of movement from Axel. Her strength was uncanny; Axel knew he could never escape if Eydís desired to retain him. Her mouth gently opened as she stared longingly at his cock, before taking most of its length within.
Much like when they shared that kiss, Eydís’s mouth and tongue were dry yet silky smooth. Delicately she clasped it with her soft metallic lips, gently working their way up and down his rigid erection. Her tongue lovingly stroked the lower side, reaching down to her opening all the way from the tip of his cock. Feeling him grow larger inside her, her tongue gently swirled its way around his enlarged tip as she intensified her strangely realistic suction. Axel flinched and moaned hard in her dirty embrace, though remained firmly locked in place.
“F-Fuck… Eydís…you’re…you’re so g-good at this! A-Aaahhh!” Axel’s words seemed to reach her, given her sudden yet minor increase to her speed and suction. Eydís had no intention of verbally responding, being too occupied with the cock she adored serving. Axel tried hard to compliment her further, but got hopelessly lost in his own moaning and flinching. A minute passed of consistent pleasure coating Axel’s cock, until Eydís slowly pulled away. She gazed back at her master, as her finger and thumb very gently and slowly stroked his stiff shaft. Her tight grip on his buttocks had not loosened in the slightest.
“Master, your penis has grown to notably strong levels. Your testicles are more than ready to be milked dry.” Though her usual tone persisted, Eydís spoke with an additional hint of certitude and commitment. “If you prefer, I can put your penis through my semen extraction system, which will double in massaging it to provide you with an orgasm of maximum intensity.”
“W-Wait, you mean…you haven’t…a-ahh…you haven’t been going all out?”
“The fellatio I provided you with was simply a means to prepare your penis for something greater. If you desire more then I can use my semen extraction system, heavily simulating human intercourse, to bring you to an orgasm of higher standards. I can additionally provide varying levels of intensity during the process, with the main intention being to prolong your orgasm, magnifying it for when it does inevitably occur.”
“Eydís…I….” Axel stared dreamily into her focused amber eyes. He could still hardly believe what was occurring. “Eydís…please do it! I want to experience it! If it really will be as great as you say, then please give it all to me!”
“Thank you for accepting my offer, Master.” Eydís placed slowly placed both hands atop her thighs, still gazing up at Axel. “Please lay down wherever and however you would feel most comforted. I shall carry out all necessary tasks from then on.”
Too excited and curious to mutter a word, Axel did exactly as requested. Gently he rested his back upon the stone ground beneath, his raging erection still reaching out and longing for more. Without a flicker of hesitation, Eydís folded up her metallic dress more before sliding it further around her, revealing far more to the front of her body. What was under her dress had sustained notably less damage and dirt. Axel couldn’t properly acknowledge this fact thanks to her luscious form, along with the oddly realistic looking entrance down below. She possessed what looked to be a perfect recreation of an actual woman’s set of genitals.
Once Axel had rested comfortably, Eydís proceeded to climb atop him, pulling down his trousers and lifting his shirt as far as they’d possibly go. Eydís gently placed her pussy against the tip of Axel’s yearning cock. Axel stared in awe as her lips down below began to widen, preparing to take in his entire length and girth. Without warning, she descended her body down onto his, her insides gently stroking all around his cock with a silky smooth interior.
“Master, please forgive me. Due to my prolonged hibernation, I currently lack lubrication. I’ll make necessary adjustments to accommodate this setback during our first session.” Her oddly warm confines began to tighten up to an even cosier extent. Axel gasped as he gazed up at Eydís, staring back as her insides slowly began to vibrate with multiple ascending strokes, hips locked in place. “Please Master, stare at whichever body part of mine arouses you the most. Use the appearance of my body to intensify your stimulation. Relax and admire me while I enthuse your mind and body. Do not hold any restraint is expressing your pleasure. Please express all of it.”
Axel’s moaning already loudened enough to partially drown out her words. Her silken interior had clasped onto him, stroking the skin of his entire length with moderate pacing. With each descending stroke, her loving vibrations jolted further pleasures against his foreskin and glans, the stimulation waving through his entire body. Eydís leaned forward to gently place her thumbs around Axel’s nearly erect nipples, circling around them slowly and tenderly. Axel shuddered with bliss under her, his nipples and cock feeling extra sensitive to her divine strokes.
Despite how much he adored her strong thighs, tender entrance, and well-rounded breasts, Axel continued staring into her shining eyes. Though she couldn’t express the same way humans do, he felt the impression of love and devotion in her eyes, as if she longed to gaze upon more of the pleasure coursing through him. He felt her cosy embrace down below rise up, as she raised her waist to leave two thirds of his cock exposed to the air. Seeing the glint of shock and perplexity upon Axel’s face, Eydís dropped her waist hard onto him. Axel could only gasp and moan harder than ever as Eydís adamantly raised and lowered her silken pussy upon his cock. He felt the weight of her heavy body pound against his hips, strength just cut short of causing any potential damage.
Axel moaned louder and rougher than he ever believed possible. His immodest voice echoed powerfully against every wall, his limbs flailing uncontrollably as Eydís locked his body under her. His gaze alternated between the oddly loving glare from Eydís and the gorgeous sight of her pussy gladly taking in his entire length with beautiful rhythm. Her vibrations hadn’t stopped. Rather, her pussy itself was still gently stroking in waves up his cock, warming vibrations having only intensified. That otherworldly ecstasy rushing through Axel was steeping up rapidly, provoking his zealous testicles to burst their load sooner than he’d prefer.
As the pitch and pacing of his immodest moans arose, Eydís narrowed her glare. Much of the pressure grasping his cock shifted to his shaft, stroking it up and down with similar rhythm. That beloved ecstasy surging through Axel hasn’t departed. He simply remained on the edge of eruption as Eydís continued to pound down her body and caress his erect cock and nipples.
What felt like a few minutes passed. Axel’s cock was in paradise, yet he felt it beg hard for so much more. His brain began melting away as his course of edging grew far beyond what he could ever withstand.
“E-E- Eydís…I…I….” he muttered between his moans, seeing Eydís’s mouth slightly hung open agape. Her left eye had returned to a spiralling shade of blue, as her other took on an unfamiliar shining lilac.
Vibrations strengthened, the walls of her interior grasped tightly all over. Eydís thrusted harder and faster, Axel’s cock and balls immediately resonating with one another. Both of Eydís’s eyes shined a bright lilac as her sight further narrowed, her lips further spreading.
Feeling the energised cum surge through his cock, Axel bellowed out louder than ever through the giant cathedral, his orgasm overpowering every sense within his body. His empowered limbs shook violently with no sense of rhythm nor restraint. Masses of cum shot up into Eydís, both her and Axel focused on each other’s loving and orgasmic expressions. His explosive orgasm persisted much longer than usual, with Eydís not easing or softening her pounding. Only when Axel’s rush finally fizzled out did she slow down, cock still deep within her.
Retaining her delightful facial expression, Eydís persisted in caressing his nipples, her soft waves of stroking continuously caressing his erection. She applied extra squeezing at his tip, sucking up every last drop of his warm semen until he truly was milked dry. Axel barely had the energy to even shudder in response.
Succumbing to his own fatigue, Axel felt the full extent of his own bodily weight. Eydís leaned in further, planting a delicate yet passionate kiss onto his lips. She allowed part of her weight to rest upon him, restraining just enough to cause no physical harm. After much kissing and cuddling between them, Eydís rolled over beside Axel, her lilac eyes resuming their default amber. His cock had left her body, though it still felt contented. He noticed how unusually dry it remained. Seemed like Eydís really did take every drop she could get.
“Eydís I…I don’t think you quite fully realise how incredible that felt….” Axel lifted his arms over using what little stamina remained, able to get both arms arcing round her for a loving cuddle. “Eydís…I…I think I…actually no, never mind.”
“Hmm?” Eydís’s curiosity peaked. Her head tilted to look back into his eyes, shifting to a shade of cyan. “Master, you appear to be withholding noteworthy information or viewpoints. There should be no shame or danger if having to conceal such things.”
“True…I’m just really not used to expressing such things this early. Forgive me Eydís, I’ll tell you later instead….”
“I understand….” Eydís blinked a few times as her eyes reverted to their usual amber. Her arm wrapped itself around Axel’s body as she rested her head next to his, returning his caring embrace. “Truth be told, I believe I already know how you feel. If I’m not mistaken, I feel a similar way towards you. But for now Master, please partake in some well-earned rest. It’s the healthiest action for you to carry out during this instance.”
Tightening their cuddle a little more, both Axel and Eydís drifted off into their own versions of a peaceful nap. Axel stopped questioning the absurdity in his discovery. For now he only cared for the automation that adored him back.

Rough, rocky flooring returned. Their presence combined with a cold, tainted air against much of Axel’s exposed skin. This large metal body he’d been holding onto somehow didn’t quite match the chilly surroundings, being pleasantly warm by comparison at least. Yesterday was no dream, thankfully. Though the current comfort with Eydís provided a vivid flashback of the moment before drifting into slumber, he little to no vision to truly confirm it. Subtle grey shades plastered over surfaces, which felt like a lost cause against the pitch black darkness.
Having felt Axel’s fidgety awakening, Eydís opened slowly opened her eyes, shining bright enough to illuminate most of her face. She resumed that longing stare, still clutching him cosily.
“Good morning, Master. It may not be morning, but it feels like a suitable greeting for you in this moment.” Eydís spoke with softer words than usual. In a way, she too appeared mildly sleepy.
“Ah, good morning Eydís!” Axel tightened their embrace a little more, longing for comfort within the shock from his surrounding darkness. “…umm, were your eyes always that bright? I feel like I would have noticed yesterday….”
“It became clear that our vision was being impaired by the surrounding darkness. Therefore I increased the luminosity within my eyes. I will retain this until we regain a more sufficient light source.”
“Wow, thank you for that!” Axel struggled to express himself, for the same reasoning as beforehand. “What I said yesterday still stands. Even though you’ve become my devoted servant of sorts, I still want to help you however I can, not just for my own curiosity. We’ll explore more of this place together! When do you want to begin our exploration?”
“Whenever you feel ready, Master. Once you have regained sufficient energy, we shall make our move.”
With a warming smile from Axel, he relaxed his tired body. Time left unchecked, he continued admiring the gynoid in his arms while gently stroking her soft hair. He almost fell right back asleep more than once, Eydís not appearing bothered in the slightest.

What may have been many more hours proceeded to pass. With help from Eydís, Axel found the lamp he’d used yesterday. It dawned on him that he held no knowledge on its battery efficiency or even how much charge remained when he’d taken it. He still possessed plenty of batteries for his precious camera, which his smaller torch could utilise without issue.
Upon gathering his backpack, it became apparent that he’d completely forgotten about his bedroll. Though he had it, his conscious mind became far too distracted to have remembered during last night. To be capable of sleeping on such rocky ground was quite the miracle. As they set off for the back corners of the cathedral, something caught Axel’s attention.
“Hey Eydís, I can’t help but notice something. Your body is quieter today and it seems to move a bit more smoothly. Is there any particular reason for that or has it just been adjusting quickly after hibernation?”
“There’s a specific reason, thanks to you.” Axel glanced to her, waiting for elaboration. “Since I obtained it, I’ve been using your semen as lubrication for my body. It is still safely stored within me, with correct traces being spread through my internal mechanisms to lubricate them. What’s left of that semen remains stored in my abdomen so that our upcoming sessions will feel properly lubricated and therefore far more pleasurable to you.”
Many ambiguities stormed through Axel’s mind. How the heck does any of that make sense? Confusion written brightly on his face, one of his many questions spilled out.
“How does that even work? Storing it and using it I mean. Wouldn’t my cum just dry up after a few minutes?” He caught sight of her eyes temporarily shifting to blue again.
“Part of my build is to properly utilise such things to their fullest. As an exclusivity to the Vᴂttr•thӕnis range, I’m easily capable of keeping your semen well preserved and applied.” She approached Axel, holding onto both his hands out of comfort and reassurance. “I can tell it’s a lot for people like yourself to comprehend, so please don’t dwell on the matter too much. But Master, please allow me to carry out daily health checks on you, relieving you of unnecessary tension whenever required. As your faithful servant, I will do everything within my power to maintain high standards of health and contentment. If you feel aroused before my health checks, do not hesitate to inform me.”
Axel’s sense of words broke momentarily, before leaning into plant a passionate kiss upon her lips. He held on for nearly half a minute before slowly parting it, gazing into Eydís’s amber eyes which were slowly shifting to a familiar blue and silver combination. Eydís began glaring down at his body.
“Not yet!” he interrupted. Eydís looked to him with mild puzzlement. “Right now, I’m more excited to help you. Let’s go explore the remains of your home together!”
Eydís’s mouth widened a tiny amount before gently nodding. Fully equipped and energised, Axel and Eydís resumed their investigation of the cryptic underground palace, walking peacefully alongside one another whilst tightly holding hands.
