She is on a small trip with her family. A small hockey tourney several hrs. Away. She had been talking to this poet and author and nice guy online. The best part is that her husband didn’t know about it. He seemed sweet and just made her smile.

I checked the time on my phone, shut off the car, and headed back into the laundromat. The place was empty, as it usually was. The motel at the edge of town opening the 24-hour laundromat suited me perfectly. I didn’t have to deal with anyone, and never had to wait.
